Indonesia Fashion Week - Day 1

Indonesia Fashion Week (IFW) is the biggest fashion event with 380 local brands participating and not less than 114 designers had take part in this event.IFW is the first fashion event which combines fashion shows and trade show. This event is not just showcasing latest designers with extravagant fashion shows but also providing a complete fashion exhibition (ranging from Women’s wear (Muslim, Casual, Cocktail & Party), men’s wear & kids wear, Accessories and Textile), seminars and competitions. All of these have one aim that is to accelerate the growth of local fashion Industry. This event unites all important elements of fashion from designers, academic institutions, business, association to government. Indonesia Fashion Week 2013 will be held on 14-17 February 2013 at Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta.

Anyone go to IFW? I came to JCC at the first day to get my blogger pass at 9am and I though I came too early so I took so many pictures there. I came with my mom, friends and some of them are bloggers too (Cathy, Ellen).

It's not kawaii? I love the collections from Glad New. It's the Japanese brand and full of studded especially for this shoes. We can take photos while wearing the outfit from Glad New collections. So, My friends from Apron and Crème and I tried this shoes. The EO from Glad New interviewed us and asked us about what we though about the collections, which one the outfit, bag and shoes we loved, etc. What do you think? Which one do you like the most?

As you can see, you'll see Batik everywhere with modern touch and you'll see so many kinds of Batiks from all the provinces in Indonesia.

Talking about the event, i was the nominees of the top 100 "Fashion is You" by Galeries Lafayette Jakarta" and i got the jury interview with the judge a few days ago.  The judges were Biyan Wanaatmadja, Ria Lirungan, and Affi Assegaf. I was so nervous. I wish i could be the top 40 but the others were so gorgeous and amazing. 

Do you people go to IFW (Indonesia Fashion Week) and brightspot market ? Because i will go with my friends and some of my blogger friends too on thursday. Let's meet up if you go too and let me know. By the way, I applied for IFW's bloggers and got accepted and i'm the one of the official bloggers for IFW 2013! =)

Happy New Year everyone! (Late). How's your day?  

I was busy again so i can't update my blog every time i wanted. So, This is my designed for my school project again. I was inspired by a Peacock because it's beautiful, elegant, mysterious, magical and Peacock has colorful and beautiful tails. I used  gradation colors for 3 different designs and i made this one.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

This was my outfit when me and my friends had fashion show for Palm Award in Plaza Senayan about a month ago. I was wearing blue peplum top with latex legging and CnK Bag and June and Julia shoes again. I'm sorry but i love to wear the same things again if i love it.

I love the peplum top with the combination in electric blue and soft transparent black tulle and i like to wear it without tank top although i wore tank top in the pictures (haha -.-") yeahh because of the top was too big for me and not fit me well .

Ventilateur De La Main - Gaga Goes Batik

I was busy these weeks for the photoshoots. I had 3 times of photoshoots with my team and friends and it was really fun, and yesterday was my last day in my college and with my friends. I'm going to graduate soon in April. 

This collection would be my portfolio. The theme is "Gaga goes Batik" and I was inspired by fan. It's a couture dress with the balloon and pleats skirt  like fan or ? (whatever) lol.

Do you know Batik? Do you like Batik? I used Batik Garud for the main fabric ( as you can see or you can't recognize it, I used 2 different patterns and colors. one was navy blue with red and the other one was navy blue and pink.), cream Taffeta and pink Suede. Batik Garud has so many patterns and colors. You have to purchase as you needed or more because you can't find them in the same color again for the next purchase/second purchase.
