We something in common: fashion is in our blood. We eat, we sleep, we breath fashion. One might say it's a obsession, but we call it passion. We love sharing our experiences about fashion, lifestyle, and the beautiful relationship between them. But more than that, we are eager to listen to the younger generations' vision and help to make it come true. In KLAUS  & CO, you will learn how to start a collection, step by step run a production, and eventually market your creation, you own labor to love. The dream of becoming a fashion entrepeneur will finally within your grasp."

So, one of the young designer who join to KLAUS is me. The theme for all of the designers collection is Stairs of Minimalism and the sub theme for my collection was inspired by Church of Lights by Japanese Architecture Tadao Ando. Tadao Ando's  churches are great examples of how little light you need to heighten emotion. A windowless room with even a sliver is so much better than one with nothing. It's part of our human instinct. The space of the chapel is defined by light, the strong contrast between light and solid. Merlyn Widjaja’s style is defined by modern design, focusing on clean lines and fine fabrics.

Merry Christmas 2013 and Happy New Year 2014!! I wish i could get a better job. This is my first post in 2014 with my 2013 outfit. I was wearing my handmade top with leather circular skirt from Geisha and June and Julia Oxford shoes. I have a collaboration with a new online store for Spring/Summer   201 4 collection, will launching in February and I will tell you guys soon.

I was wearing this outfit for Jakarta Fashion Week to attend The Body Shop - Lasalle show because one of my garment was shown there. Anyone saw me?? By The way, i'm very busy this month to produce my new collection and i will tell you about the launch later. See you on the next post!

I went to Bazaar fashion show at Gandaria City last week. One of my friend was accepted as the top 10 finalist. I bought this jacket long time ago but i never wear it. I always combine black and the touch of red, since red is my fav color. But, I love this combination too!!

I really want to post my outfit photo again on my blog, but i always have a problem with the photographer who is my brother, since he always busy with his job and bring his camera when he was working. I'll try to take my outfit photo by myself with a tripod. He must teach me about this!!!!

Finally, I post my outfit photo. The first picture was taken by Sadikigani from The Actual Style and the second was taken by Cathy and edited by me. I changed my face with Fifi Lapin and i think it's more stylish, since i don't have hat like that ><

I was wearing vest from Topshop (I love the back detail but i don't have the picture), Clutch from Gowigasa and stripped pants from Geisha. I was wearing this outfit for Whatiwear Blogger gathering event at CP. 

Mary Katranzou - Resort 2014

I found this collection when i was working and searching for resort 2014 collections. I love this collection especially with the printed motif in the collection like modern architecture, gorgeous green house with roses climbing up trellises and a wildflower meadow, tree branches lacing themselves together over ornamental ponds, and en enormous industrial framework keeping the world at bay. I really love the printed fabrics from this collection, it looks like screen. For me, it's really beautiful with the simple shape and silhouette. Katrantzou claimed she has moved on from a quest for perfection to something more emotional, and it was all there. I really want to make my mini collection with printed fabric too =)

Men's wear - Shadow of The Night

Hello guys..it's been a month since my last posted. I was busy last month to do made by order for my customers, and i will be busy again for the next 3 months or more because i got a job to be a junior designer of a new brand in Indonesia and i will start working on monday. 

 I want to share another project of my designs. I designed the men's wear and my friend designed the women's wear. I know it's kinda boring to read my blog about my designs and my school projects. But, i hope i can inspire you =)

Photoshoot! Mini Collection - Fuzzy Loop

These are some of my mini collection photoshoot with Darius Manihuruk as the Photographer, Ari Alba as the makeup artist and Wardrobe by Marcella Merlyn Widjaja. This is my mini collection school project inspired by Bunny "Fuzzy Loop". There are 2 looks and i will post about the rest soon.
